New paper from Christian Mahringer (University of Stuttgart), Kathrin Sele (Aalto University), and Anja Danner-Schröder (RPTU Kaiserslautern)!
The authors examine how restaurant Nolla, based in Helsinki, recreated its organizational routines that were disrupted by the lockdowns induced by Covid-19. They find that embodiment—the human body in its environment—plays an essential role in this recreation process. The research is particularly relevant in times of crisis, as it details the process of resuming operations.
The paper has been published in the Journal of Management Studies, a leading journal in the management and organization studies field.
