Manuel Skrzypczak joined Prof. Burr’s team as research associate and doctoral student in January 2015. His research focuses on innovation adoption, and adoption behavior. Specifically, he examines how consumers assess and evaluate product information during categorization and choice processes, and, consequently, how firms can effectively use theses insights to reduce adoption barriers and failure rates for product innovations. Manuel teaches a course in Innovation Management and Service Operations Management. He previously taught at University of Applied Science Esslingen, and at International School of Management Stuttgart. He holds a M. Sc. and B. Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Stuttgart. Prior to starting his dissertation, Manuel gained practical experience at several companies in the automotive industry, especially in the fields of product management, production management, and intrapreneurship.
