Seminar topic: What do investors really care about?
In the winter semester 24/25, we ask ourselves: What do investors really care about? We are investigating what is really important to investors when making investment decisions. Are sustainability and social responsibility relevant for investors? Or do investors only look at the returns of the last few months to decide which investment opportunity to put their money into? Is it ultimately trend topics such as artificial intelligence that attract investors' attention?
We explore these questions in the seminars of the Chair of Finance. Using selected academic literature, we examine various topics that are of interest for investors' investment decisions and supplement existing research with our own new analyses. We offer the opportunity to get to know the databases at the Chair, to work with financial market data and to conduct your own empirical studies based on scientific articles from international journals.
Further information can be found in the seminar announcement linked below and here on our website.
Registration is still possible until October, 17th 2024. We look forward to seeing you!
