Information according to Art. 13 DS-GVO

1. Controller and data protection officer

Information on the controller and the data protection officer can be found in the University's privacy policy .

2. Description and categories of data

This form transmits the data entered by e-mail to Ms. Michaela Müller-Wittek when you submit it.

3. Purpose

All data in the form is used for processes relating to theses in Department 3 of the BWI. Personal data is used to establish contact and to identify students in the assessment of examination results. 

4. Legal basis

The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. e DS-GVO in conjunction with Art. 6 Abs. 3 DS-GVO in conjunction with § 15 Landesdatenschutzgesetz (if the contact person is an employee of the university) or § 4 Landesdatenschutzgesetz (if the contact person is not an employee of the university).

5. Recipient

Recipients of the personal data transmitted via the form are exclusively employees of Department 3 of the BWI of the University of Stuttgart.

6. Duration of storage

The data collected will be stored in documents on the restricted-access group drive of Department 3 of the BWI and deleted after the retention period for theses has expired.

7. Consequences of non-disclosure, possibility of objection or removal

The mandatory information in the form is necessary for the proper and structured completion of the thesis.
