Final theses

We do not offer predefined topics on our website. The supervisor will find a topic that fits your interests together with you. Current areas of focus are:

• Our current research topics: frictions in asset markets, design and regulation of financial markets, asset pricing and investment funds
• Topics addressed in our courses
• Your own topic suggestions, possibly in cooperation with external institutions

The focus of our chair is on empirical research. Therefore, the theses at our chair are usually also empirical theses. An empirical data analysis is an essential part of your thesis at our department.

Once you and your supervisor have set your topic, you can fill in the registration form (see here) and send it to your supervisor for signature. The date on that form ist the starting date of your thesis.
