Dept. III: Seminars in summer 2024 - Sustainable Finance

In the seminars in the summer term 2024, we will deal with the highly topical research field of sustainable finance. We will examine the influence of sustainable investment decisions and ESG criteria (environmental, social and governance) on capital markets and security prices. Bachelor's and Master's students carry out empirical analyses on topics such as the difference in performance between "green" and "brown" securities or the influence of a company's ownership structure on its environmental and social performance.
We offer the opportunity to get to know the databases at the chair, to work with financial market data and to conduct your own empirical studies based on scientific articles from international journals.
