A warm welcome to the BWI!
Managing the people side of technology
PLEASE NOTE - The website is currently being revised
The Business Administration Institute (BWI) focuses clearly on development and acquisition of deep managerial knowledge and skills. It is the interface between business administration and technology.
The institute itself as well as the introduction of the degree course date back to 1974. Consequently, the BWI is a forerunner of technically-oriented business administration in Germany.
The studies of business management at the BWI is closely linked to the basic teaching content of engineering science at the University of Stuttgart. The BWI maintains intensive contacts to medium-sized and large companies, especially in the Stuttgart area. This allows our graduates to gain deep, first-hand business insights. The cooperation between business economists and engineers is essential. More information about the BWI.
