Project Study

Please find here information on writing project studies at the Department of Business Administration and Marketing.

General Information

  • The project study can only be selected, if you have already completed one module offered by the Depart­ment of Business Administration and Marketing (Marketing I and/or Marketing II).
  • For more information, please see the current exam regulations.

  • Credits: 6
  • Semester hours: 2
  • Non-graded examination (unbe­notete Studienleistung)
  • Please note that the project study cannot be undertaken during a leave of abscence.
  • You will find information on the application for the project study under #6. Application.
  • Admission is granted only after successful application via the application form below. A confirmation of admission will be issued within a week of the deadline for applications.
  • Additionally, you need to register in C@mpus during the regular registration period for exams.
  • Topics for bachelor theses at our department are currently available in the following areas:
    • Customer Experience (Management)
    • Digital Marketing
    • Marketing and innovative technologies
    • Sustainability Marketing
  • Topics currently on offer
  • Can be written individually or as a group.
  • Time frame: 6 weeks
  • Scope: project report (3 to 4 pages) and PowerPoint presentation of the results
  • The project study should be written in accordance with the guidelines of the department VI und need to contain a declaration of academic integrity (an example can be found in the guidelines).
  • Please send us the following documents as one single PDF docu­ment:
    • A current transcript of records
    • Research proposal (max. one page) if you want to propose your own topic (topic’s relvance, research question, proposed method for answering the research question)
